Funerals
The thought of organising a funeral can be daunting, overwhelming. Being able to lean on someone, for guidance, advice, and support is a huge comfort. To offload just a little bit of the burden that the organisation of a funeral involves, to someone with knowledge and experience, is invaluable.
Let’s face it, a funeral is the one life event that we do not look forward to, rarely plan for, and mostly dread. Organised in haste in the midst of pain and grief and without much personal input, they can be sombre, conservative affairs. For this reason, funerals can be functional, formulaic and impersonal.
It doesn’t have to be that way. A personalised, meaningful funeral can be a hugely cathartic, healing experience, an important step in the grieving process. Not only does it honour a loved one’s memory, but it also gives all those who knew them an opportunity to come together, to support each other in a time of need. Sharing stories and memories helps us to navigate those feelings of grief and loss.
Life is a celebration. All of it.
Even the end.
There is no right or wrong way to say goodbye. What works for one person will be totally inappropriate for someone else. One size does not fit all.
You see every one of us has a story, a life lived and shared, people who loved us and who we loved, a world that we inhabited, no matter how long or short.
Getting to re-tell that story is a privilege, to be allowed into such a personal space, at such a difficult time, to share those private moments, truly is an honour, and one that is not taken lightly.
I am here to answer all your questions, help guide you through the process and create a service which truly reflects the life and memory of the loved one, so you give them the most fitting of goodbyes.

Tell me as much as you can, include any words, music, photographs. Everything you wish to have and to express in the service.

Together we will create a beautiful, elegant service full of feeling and love and warmth, probably some tears, and maybe even some laughter.
This is an extremely personal journey and should remain a memory that brings comfort and solace.
BRINGING COMFORT
This can be a difficult time for all those bereaved.
Friends and Family are invited to take part and say their goodbyes in ways that have meaning for themselves and those present.
I am here to liaise with all those who wish to contribute, while keeping the flow natural.

I will deliver as much or as little of the service as you wish on the day.
